The Lebanese Red Cross is the main provider of ambulance services in Lebanon; Their 3000 emergency medical technicians and 300+ ambulances respond to more than 140,000 emergencies and patient transports per year. Although they provide these services for free, they do have a cost!
Unfortunately, due to limited funds, they are either late to or cannot respond to 1 emergency call out of 5!This is mostly the case during weekdays from 6AM to 6PM when the volunteers are at work or in class, and they have to recruit some of their experienced volunteers as staff in order to ensure rapid and effective ambulance response during the day. But with small monthly donations, you can help the Lebanese Red Cross reach more people who need them faster.
